Trinity United, First South United & St. John’s United Churches

We’re so happy you’re here! Whether you’re just in town for a visit or staying for a while, you’re welcome to join us in community with our three churches! We have a rotating schedule for Sunday morning worship, led by our minister, Rev. Katie Logan. Our three churches can be found along Highway 332 here on the South Shore of beautiful Nova Scotia.

Travelling along the Mouth of the LaHave River is where you can find Riverport Pastoral Charge’s two churches! Trinity United Church is on the main stretch of Rose Bay and St. John’s United Church is in Middle LaHave right by the riverside!

Nestled in the beautiful community of First South, right on the edge of the town of Lunenburg, is our home where you can find us at First South United Church!

We are served by our minister Rev. Katie Logan who joined us in August 2023. Rev. Katie was born and raised here in Nova Scotia and keeps finding more reasons to stay. We recently celebrated Rev. Katie’s ordination into the United Church of Canada this past year and are so glad to continue in ministry together. Rev. Katie is passionate about justice, diversity, equity & inclusivity, and connecting faith and spirituality throughout our lives in and outside of church. She is dedicated to engaging with people to encourage a faith-filled community presence wherever she goes. She is always inspired by how we as individuals and communities interact with faith and scripture. Rev. Katie is passionate about answering curious questions about the church, faith and our relationship with Jesus and asking plenty of her own. She strives to keep and open and faithful mind and heart and is always available for deep conversations, questions you might be too nervous to ask, and a listening ear for all.
